I am motivated to participate in the Bundesfreiwilligendienst because I want to contribute my skills and experience to meaningful community service while gaining international experience and learning from a different cultural environment.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in French and have professional experience in teaching, customer service, sales and community engagement. During my National Youth Service Corps, I volunteered as a UNICEF Peer Educator, educating students and women on family health, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. This experience strengthened my communication, empathy, teamwork and community-engagement skills and developed my commitment to supporting others.

I also have teaching experience, including teaching French at Federal Government College, Minjibir, and later volunteering as a French teacher at Wisteria Court Montessori School. Through these experiences, I developed patience, adaptability and the ability to communicate effectively with learners from different backgrounds.

My customer-service experience has further strengthened my active listening, problem-solving, organisation and service-orientation skills. I am comfortable working in teams, interacting respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, taking responsibility and remaining calm under pressure. I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have strong digital communication skills.

I am willing to learn new skills, adapt to different responsibilities and contribute wherever I can be useful. I see this Bundesfreiwilligendienst as an opportunity to serve others, exchange experiences, develop intercultural skills and make a positive contribution to the host organisation and wider community.
