My name is Hüseyin Yılmaz, and I am currently volunteering in North Macedonia through the ESC program, with 25 days remaining in my placement. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in permaculture and sustainable agriculture, while also contributing as a volunteer at a local festival.

This experience has not only allowed me to develop practical skills in woodworking, construction, and electrical work—fields in which I had prior experience—but also gave me the opportunity to learn about Macedonian culture and improve my English. I have felt welcomed here and found a second family among the local community, which has made my volunteer experience even more meaningful.

I am now eager to expand my volunteer experience internationally. I am actively seeking projects in different countries where I can continue contributing, learn new skills, and immerse myself in new cultures. I am highly adaptable, hardworking, and passionate about sustainable practices and hands-on work, and I am confident that I can make a meaningful contribution to any project I join.
