I am excited to apply for a volunteer position in volunteer services in Germany. As a graduate of BSc Geology, I may not have a traditional background in social work, but my passion for working with children and young people, combined with my transferable skills, make me an ideal candidate for this role.

Recently I have gained valuable experience working with children. Notably, I have worked in the children's church department, where I was responsible for organizing camping activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and providing for their nutritional needs. Additionally, during my compulsory national service, I served as a tutor in a high school for a year, guiding young teens to achieve academic success.

While my background in geology may seem unrelated to child welfare, it has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the natural environment and the importance of nature and environmental impact assessment and prevention. I believe this unique perspective can bring value to your organization.

Furthermore, I am a sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for football, with interest in basketball, tennis, car racing, and sprinting. I believe that sports can play a vital role in promoting physical and mental well-being, teamwork, and social skills among children and young people.

I am excited about the prospect of volunteering in Germany and contributing my skills and experience to support the well-being of children, young people and keeping our environment safe. Thank you for considering my application.
